Plans & pricing overview
How Coassemble's plans work, what each one includes, and how to choose between Build, Scale and Partner.
Coassemble has three plans: Build, Scale and Partner. Every plan carries the complete platform and the full API, so the differences come down to usage allowances, infrastructure, terms and support, never features held back. Build is the entry plan, Scale grows with committed usage, and Partner is for organisations running Coassemble as core infrastructure. Before you choose, you can test full functionality in a free Coassemble Sandbox.
What's included on every plan
Every plan includes unlimited course creators and unlimited courses, plus the complete Coassemble platform:
Creation: generate a course from a prompt, transform a document into a course, or convert a PowerPoint. Refine content with AI, generate screens and quizzes, and add AI narration with premium voices.
Branding: themes and colours, Google Fonts and custom font upload, your logo, and brand voice.
Sharing and delivery: share links, email invitations, Slack, embedding in tools like Notion and Confluence, collections, and Dynamic SCORM export from the app.
Embedding: course, collection and screen embeddables in view, edit and analytics modes, with visual theming, powered by the full REST API and webhooks.
The full API: courses, collections, screens, embeddables, webhooks and events, the Generate API for programmatic AI generation, the Tracking API for reading tracking data and for GDPR deletes, the Themes API for reading and writing themes, translations by API, the usage allowance API, per-tenant usage reporting, and Embed MCP.
Reporting: course views, sentiment, completion rates, per-person progress for identified learners, and CSV export.
Security: SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 reports, and security documentation for your review process.
How do the plans differ?
| Build | Scale | Partner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Your first integration, live at small scale | Growing usage on committed volume | Coassemble as core infrastructure |
| Identified Recipients (IRs) per year | 600 | 2,400 to 120,000 or more, committed | Negotiated |
| Anonymous Recipients (ARs) per year | 12,000 | 24,000 at entry, up to 240,000 | Negotiated |
| AI narration tokens per month | 100k | 250k at entry, up to 25M | Negotiated, from 25M |
| Image generation events per month | 50 | 150 at entry, up to 15,000 | Negotiated, from 15,000 |
| Infrastructure and terms | Standard Release server | Controlled Release server option, custom billing, DPA | Dedicated or region-locked servers (EU, US, APAC or UK), self-hosting, full MSA |
| Support | Standard support | Priority support | Priority support, plus dedicated account and technical management |
Scale's entry figures are initial allowances, subject to recalibration: your committed usage grows with you, and your allowances grow alongside it.
What API access does each plan include?
The same on every plan. Build, Scale and Partner all carry the full API: courses, collections, screens, embeddables, webhooks and events, the Generate API, the Tracking API for reads and for GDPR deletes, the Themes API for reads and writes, translations by API, the usage allowance API, per-tenant usage reporting, and Embed MCP. Every embeddable mode, including builder embeddables and visual theming, is on every plan too. What changes between plans is how much you can use, not what you can call.
What is the Sandbox?
The Sandbox is a free test account for proving Coassemble works inside your product before you choose a plan. Sign up from the Coassemble website with your work email and job title, select Access sandbox, and your workspace is provisioned straight away. You get the same platform and the same API as a paid plan, with allowances sized for testing and validation rather than production use.
How are learners counted?
Coassemble counts two kinds of access. An Identified Recipient (IR) is a person whose identity is captured when they open a course, whether they provided an email address, were invited by email or Slack, accessed through an approved domain, or were identified through the API. An Anonymous Recipient (AR) opens a course without their identity being captured, and only aggregate data like views and completion rates is retained. Allowances for both are annual.
How to choose
Start with how you'll use it. If you're building your first integration and going live at small scale, Build covers it. If your usage is growing and you want committed volume that scales with you, plus options like a Controlled Release server and custom billing, that's Scale. If Coassemble is core infrastructure for your platform and you need dedicated or region-locked environments, self-hosting or a full MSA, that's Partner. If you're not sure yet, start a Sandbox and prove the integration first.
Frequently asked questions
Do any plans limit how many courses or creators I get?
No. Every plan includes unlimited course creators and unlimited courses. Plans differ on usage allowances, infrastructure, terms and support, not on how much you can build.
Can I sign up and pay online?
No, there's no self-serve checkout. You can start a free Sandbox to test with, and every paid plan starts with a conversation so the team can confirm fit before you spend anything.
What happens when I reach an allowance?
Allowances are soft capped. If your recipient numbers or AI usage run past an allowance, we'll reach out for a conversation about sizing your plan. We call before anything stops, so there are no surprise cut-offs and no automatic overage billing on any plan.
Did any features move behind higher plans?
No. Every plan carries the complete platform and the full API. Usage, infrastructure, terms and support are where plans differ, not features.
Where do I find prices?
Current prices are on the Coassemble pricing page. This page covers what each plan does rather than the dollar figures.
