What the Build plan includes, who it's for, and how its usage allowances work.

Build is Coassemble's entry plan for teams putting learning inside their own product, intranet or platform. It includes the complete Coassemble platform and the full API, the same as every other plan, with usage allowances sized for going live at small scale.

Who is Build for?

Build suits teams shipping their first Coassemble integration. You've proven the integration works, often in a free Sandbox, and you're ready to go live with real learners at a manageable scale. When your usage grows past Build's allowances, the next step is a conversation about committed volume that grows with you.

What's included

  • The complete platform: generate a course from a prompt, transform a document into a course, or convert a PowerPoint. Refine content with AI, generate screens and quizzes, add AI narration with premium voices, and generate images. Includes scored quizzes, collections, themes and colours, Google Fonts and custom font upload, brand voice, and the asset library.
  • The full API: courses, collections, screens, embeddables, webhooks and events, the Generate API for programmatic AI generation, the Tracking API for reading tracking data and for GDPR deletes, the Themes API for reading and writing themes, translations by API, the usage allowance API, per-tenant usage reporting, and Embed MCP.
  • Embeddables in every mode: course, collection and screen players, builder embeddables (edit mode), analytics components, and visual theming on embeddables.
  • Sharing and delivery: share links, email invitations, Slack, embedding in tools like Notion and Confluence, and Dynamic SCORM export from the app.
  • Reporting: course views, sentiment, completion rates, per-person progress for identified learners, and CSV export.
  • Infrastructure: Standard Release server, SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 reports, and security documentation.

Usage allowances

An Identified Recipient (IR) is a person whose identity is captured when they open a course. An Anonymous Recipient (AR) opens a course without their identity being captured. One narration token equals one character of generated narration, and one image generation event produces four pictures.

Allowances are soft capped. If your recipient numbers or AI usage run past an allowance, we'll reach out for a conversation about sizing your plan. We call before anything stops, so there are no surprise cut-offs and no automatic overage billing.

What's not on Build

Every plan carries the same platform and the same API, so nothing in the product sits above Build. What Build doesn't include sits on the infrastructure and support side: the Controlled Release server option and priority support. Region-locked and dedicated servers and self-hosting sit on Partner.

How do I get Build?

There's no self-serve checkout. Start a free Sandbox to prove your integration first, then talk to the Coassemble team. Every paid plan starts with a conversation so the team can confirm fit before you spend anything.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on how many courses or creators I get?

No. Build includes unlimited course creators and unlimited courses.

What happens if I go past an allowance?

We'll reach out for a conversation about sizing your plan, for recipient allowances and AI allowances alike. Nothing stops without a call first, and nothing is billed automatically.

Can I move up a plan later?

Yes. Sustained usage near Build's allowances is usually the signal to start that conversation, where committed usage and allowances are sized to how you're actually using the platform.
